The 91°µÍøÆƽâ°æ's Office of Bilingual Education and World LanguagesÌýhas created a suite of resources in order to ensure that ELL educators and school and district leadership have the support that they need to implement CR Part 154, and we are in the process of creating even more resources.Ìý These include:

In addition, we have:

  • Developed the , which address each Common Core standard and demonstrates how ELLs at all levels of language development can reach the Common Core standards.
  • Translated theinto the top 5 ELL home languages spoken in NYS.

We also host theÌýThe English Language Learner (ELL) Leadership Council. This is a group of approximately 90 English as a New Language (ENL) Deputy Superintendents or Central Office Directors from across 91°µÍøÆƽâ°æ (NYS) who meet regularly to discuss issues and best practices related to ELLs. The ELL Leadership Council meets twice a month, designated to include one (1) business meeting and one (1) professional learning opportunity.
