PBS is committed to supporting teachers and students with free, at-home learning tools to inspire and inform.

- PBS LearningMedia [“PBSLM”] is a free online tool for teachers, parents, and others to use PBS content anywhere, anytime. PBS has organized webinars for teachers to learn how to incorporate PBSLM into their distance learning plans. Station staff are also creating and updating collections of videos, source documents, lesson plans, and more into easily-accessible posts and webpages so that educators and parents have a place to find resources.

- For each Regents exam there is a one-hour long exam review video. Some of the videos are also broken into shorter clips for those looking for help with a particular topic. The teachers involved in creating these videos formulated lists of recommended online resources for further study.

- WCNY’s TV Classroom network is for students in grades K-12 and provide curriculum on the subjects of ELA, math, science, health and physical education, history, and social studies. With schools closed and many children without internet access, WCNY is committed to providing educational opportunities to audiences of all ages. WCNY’S “TV Classroom” allows children to continue to connect with real teachers and have the continuity of a classroom experience at home in Syracuse and across the 19 counties in Central New York.
